This is the best movie simulator. If there are not a better version yet,is because this game is the best, this game needs a newer version or a remake The only way to own it is piratery and is hard to find (digital and impossible to find a physical copy)

Back in the day, my younger brother, my cousin and I would play the heck out of this game, creating countless movies, each one getting funnier and more insane than the previous ones. I really wish this game (along with the expansion pack) gets to be on GOG. If it does, we will gather up the gang once more, the "gang" including more of our childhood friends, and immediately get back to film-making, if you can call what we did film-making, that is...

This game was a huge part of my childhood and teenage years. It's one of those games that always manages to pull me back, no matter how much time has passed. Being able to finally own it legally again would be absolutely amazing. For me, this is one of those timeless games that will never leave my memories. I spent hundreds of hours creating movies, recreating scenes from real films, and just letting my imagination run wild. The *Stunts & Effects* expansion made it even better and added so much more creativity. It's honestly a shame that no modern game has truly managed to become its successor. Even after all these years, *The Movies* offers something unique that no other game has been able to replicate. I know I'm not the only one who still misses it, and I'd love to see it finally become available on GOG so both old fans and a new generation of players can experience this masterpiece.

Remember that inspite of his last decade and half Peter Molyneux somehow could pitch extraordinary games. yes this one including. it is not as original as first populos but it still was ahead of cinema tycoons i know about (kinda like theme park to roller coaster tycoon i guess) it was simple enough to pick up, not too punishing for just getting allong if not breaking all box office records ... out of all Cinema tycoon games this is still the best. Admitidley it is a niche of a nieche but there is decent amount of clever dessighn went into it and that i value. it is less known than it deserves to be inspite of calibre of people involved on dessighn and promotional side. so yes GoG could you please give us some of the movies please?

I bought this game back in '05 to play on a real potato (lol). Even though I had to play it on low settings, I had so much fun with this game. This would be such a great addition to GOG. I'd purchase it in a heartbeat

Mam gdzieś płytę z tą produkcją z CDA gdzie wrzucili też dodatek z kaskaderami. Świetna produkcja gdzie można uczestniczyć w historii filmów. Fajnie by było jakby gog dodał ją do swojej oferty a już idealnie gdyby były tam też polskie napisy ;)

This game gave creatives such an amazing amount of freedom to tell stories is all kinds of ways. I spent hours through the sandbox mode just going through the all the endless scenes. And when they added the Stunts and Effects expansion pack...it upped the playability even more. I would LOVE to play this on a more modern system. I still keep an small compact computer running Vista just to keep it alive and create movies from it. It never gets boring.

Saving Private Bryan. My brothers 5 start hit classic version of Saving Private Ryan. So much fun times playing and watching my brother play this game. To be able to play this without jumping through hoops would be amazing.

The abilty to create your own fan service stories with your own personalized studio all while having the same ability to create and tell new exciting stories from our own imagination. The whole process was fun, sure it had its bugs here and there but nothing that truly hurt the game. this is a PRIORITY <3

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. With multiple diffrent races from all over Middle Earth, a giant spell tree to customize your game and a unique basebuilding layout the game was great for its time.
