It astounds me that hardly anybody has ever tried to make another Movie-maker sim game. While The Movies was far from perfect, it was a blast to play as you strung together scenes and made your movies. It's a shame there was never a sequel, as a lot of the core features simply needed polish, some additional management elements to enhance the immersion, and the endgame needed some unique technology.
Hopefully someday a worthy successor will come along, but in the meantime, this game and its expansion need to be rereleased.
