The video game adaption of the acclaimed film of the same name. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is a follow up the well received adaption of the first two films in the trilogy. I wanted this game on my GameCube so much when I was a kid, but I was never able to play it because my family was having financial difficulties and the game was too expensive. I always wanted to play this game.

I love playing this game with my friends in coop, back then the transition from movie to game where mind-blowing to me, and the gameplay was the best, always trying to fill up the bar to get a perfect. I would love to experience this again and share it with my partner. Also recently the lord of the rings movies turn 25 so it will be awesome to celebrate with one of the best game of middle earth

Id love for this game to come to GOG! I remember being 9 back in 2003 and this being the game that got me into serious PC gaming! Id love to have it on here again to replace my old CD copy!

I hadn't managed to watch the trilogy before I got this game, so when I started playing it was actually my first ever interaction with the Lord of the Rings! Even though there was an awful lot of lore things I did not know, I was ecstatic when I started playing it, and made sure to watch the movies right after (The Return of the King was still in theaters at that time, since the game also came out around that time, so I managed to catch it). The whole experience of the game was just beyond what words can describe, I loved every second of it and have been longing for years to play it again!!!

One of my favorite games from my childhood. This is probably the best movie game adaptation ever made. I would be amazing to have this and be able to share it with my kids.

That was the best LOTR game i ever played spend countless time with my friend Marcin playing on Hard difilculity multiple times playing through campain. In era of Pentium 4 and RIMM memory and GeForce 4 64MB

Esse jogo fez parte da minha infância, joguei ele com meu irmão quando ainda nao tínhamos nem console e precisavamos ir no fliperama, seria incrível agora adultos poder reviver essa lembrança através do jogo.

Eu joguei esse jogo na locadora perto de casa, foi um dos jogos que me fizeram sair de casa por varias noites seguidas, foram muitas horas de diversão jogando esse jogo, meu personagem favorito sempre foi Gimli eu gostava de fazer a investida e o ataque giratorio.

I played this game as a kid, around 6–8 years old, mostly with my dad. The PS2 was a shared gift for me and my two older sisters, but as the youngest, I ended up playing the most. I remember us clearing the final level together, trying to unlock Gandalf the White. It might not hold up technically today, but for me, it’s tied to one of my favorite childhood memories. Playing side by side with my dad, fighting off orcs — that moment made this game unforgettable. I hope for remake of this title.

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
