Story:
The players control the heroes or villians from the famous Lord of The Rings movies. With a hero characters similar to the Warcraft series you control both the armies and all the unique heroes. The game follows the movies very closely and even got scenes from the films appear in game. Not only does the game contain a giant campaign where you play through the journey of the ring as the good side, the game also features an evil campaign where as the players play as the evil forces of Middle Earth. With multiple diffrent races from all over Middle Earth, a giant spell tree to customize your game and a unique basebuilding layout the game was great for its time.

Played it as a kid, loved it to bits, I don't know what happened to my copies of this one and the sequel, but I miss it a lot, please allow everyone to get this gem of an old game.

thes game cahthis game captures the spirit and is one of the coolest strategy games that is clear and definitely one of the best, if not the best lord of the ring game ... the hard thing is it is an EA game that we all know has destroyed the entire world's gaming industry in pursuit of money ... I have bought this game several times and can't play it anymore ... I want a remake of this to be made so we can all play it as often as we want!!! and hard work and thanks to everyone who makes a huge effort to: when you buy a game you own the right to play it !!!! thanks!!!

best rts of all time, played is as a kid, and i have missed it ever since, including the second game and the witch king expansion. i will buy this game the socond it comes to gog. there is something about this game, having friends over, everybody having opinions on how to play it, take turns.. it is childhood memories and i would really love a drm free version on gog so that it could be preserved for all time so that everyone that have yet to try this can

Every now and then, I get the urge to play this game again; I find an installer and set it up, only to run into that same error—the one you’ve all likely experienced. You launch the game, but it crashes right after the first encounter with the goblins. Then you’re back to searching for a new crack. I just want to play this game without any issues, even if it’s just for once. Is that too much to ask?

grew up on this game never had this feeling again lucid dream its not a game it was a spiritual experience please get this back for years now im checking again and again where to get it
