Grim Dawn

I wish more game would be like Grim Dawn

The game industry is simple. If you listen to players (not like New World did), if you optimize your game to be playable even of integrated GPUs you will have a recipe of success. We don't need shiny armor, we just need mechanics that rewards our time spent in game. Not to mention that if you give players the tools to mod the game, they will come back to over and over no matter how old the game is. Grim Dawn represents good leadership, vision and a recipe of success.

They Are Billions

Game Engine is a miracle wonder

I enjoyed gaming, I have over 6k hours in Dota 2, tens and hundreds of hours in games like HOMM, Hoi III, IV, AoE II , IV and so on... Now I am at an age where I do not want to quit gaming, but to be sort of compact, balancing my work like and gaming from time to time, ideally to use the same device for study/work and play a handful of offline games. You simply cannot understand how excited I am about They Are Billions. The graphics are so light and awesome, that my 65W USB-C FrameWork 13 laptop can play it 2k on high-medioum settings ~60 fps. Having to pack only a charger for my phone and laptop is a big plus! I salute the developers for their custom game engine. In present day having devs that can achieve this kind of performance is a rarity. Side Note: Recently I followed the launching of a similar Starcraft 2 game, made with Unity and the game feels heavy, laggy and cartoonish. My thoughts were: "Man, imagine if they tried this with, They Are Billions Engine." Simply amazing! I wish I could poke and see inside your programming thoughts! <3

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut

Absolutely of a Blast

I haven't had such an amazing time playing a graphic adventure game, since Syberia 2! ( Yes, I know! I started with Syberia 2. Games were a rarity at that particularly time in my country. ) First 2 hours while playing Disco Elysium my thoughts were: "Wow, the dialogue and story progression is so so rich. I can't believe!" Then I searched on google for the studio and it suddenly made sense. This is what happens when you give "free hand" to a bunch of art and designer guys. They spout this materpiece! Upon learning that the studio had been shut down, now I feel empty. EDIT: I finished the game! What a rollercoaster of a spiel! Also, the studio has an upcoming release ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies! Are you sh***ing me?! What a time to be alive! Yes!

Factorio

Love the game

Such an amzing way of enjoying gaming time.

The Last Starship

I simply love it

Why? Why can't games be like this? Playing The Last Starship, makes me love games again. The simple mechanics, the immersion, the gameplay, everything is lovely and I do not need a space gaming computer to run it. I can enjoy it on my working laptop.

Kingdom Two Crowns

Lovely game

I keep getting back to it whenever I have a stressful day. I simply do not understand why doesn't the developers add Achievements to it?? - destroy portal ( common ) - use teleport ( common ) - destroy portal cave ( uncommon ) - build boat ( common ) - command an army ( common ) - secure island ( epic ) It has such a huge potential. It literally can have hundreds of achievements!
