The game I wanted to play long time ago.
I am not a big fan of adventure genre but I like robots, cyborgs etc. and post-apocalypse and also explore stuff, this game was quite satisfying in that.
What I liked about the game:
First of all, it's atmosphere. The game has a strong atmosphere which builds the immersion. And this is done by some features:
1.Well developed characters. Almost all characters you will meet are remarkable and have their own personalities.
2.Atmospherical locations painted with style.
3. Well written Lore which you understand as you progress through the game and explore locations.
4.Music
Visual appearance. As mentioned above the locations look great and immersive, as much as they can for a 2d game where you can't actually explore stuff like you can in 3d games with exploring.Gives you a feeling of your presence etc.
The puzzles. They are good in this game and also involve some kind of a crafting. It is not like those adventures where you have to do pixel hunting because you have no clue what you have to do and just hope for luck to find the item or trigger the right thing. Aside from a couple of times and some unobvious stuff most things in the game have logical solutions and it's pretty satisfying to see how you figured out the solution and it worked especially if it was not so easy.
As I also mentioned above the music is great and adds to the atmosphere of the game.
The game also has some funny references to other games and sort of humour.
The game also has different endings.
The only drawback is that the game might look way too pixelated in high res and that makes reading in-game text a bit unpleasant experience.
