I don't want to bonk Triss in the elven bath. I don't want to drink her potion.

But my game is borked. Every time I land in the elven bath I can see the wall is already broken during the cut scene. I can't unbreak it. I can't trigger any way to exit.

I've seen other people mention the bug and nowhere have I found a solution that actually works. There just isn't any prompt to get out and spamming either that or meditation doesn't work.

Is sex seriously the only way out of this?

Like my only option is to be bonked by the manipulative lady I don't trust with the freaky flower.

This has fully stalled my play through. I like linear stories just fine, I struggle with stories with choices, but I especially get frustrated when I finally make a choice and then the game says NOPE PICK THE OTHER ONE. Waah, lol

Have you tried talking to Triss?
You don't have to have sex with her, just pick the options in the attached pics
So that the quest is updated to "Talk to Vernon Roche"
And climb out the hole.

So there is no wall at image 3. I must have broken it down earlier without meaning to. There is no prompt to cast aard. There is no button which can climb me out of the broken hole. If I talk to Triss beyond the prompts you've given, she just says she's happy to be there with me or something.

I've tried reloading the save but the issue persists. I'd be very curious if you were able to find a work around though.

I am very amused at how much the bug bothers me and how sudden a halt it put to my playthrough. I mean, I even loaded the scene up the first time to see how it went and everything because of course I'm a horndog, it's not like I'm allergic to delights, Triss is a stunner and the choice I made in Witcher 1 anyway (I think. Might have been Shani, actually). I even doubt there are even any long term consequences in Witcher 3 for bonking Triss here.

There's just something about the rose and the relationship right after remembering Yennifer that creeps me out insofar as letting it be a 'permanent' real past of Geralt's 'actual' history in the game I play. I expect he should be a bit confused internally at this point, learning about a woman he was spending his life searching for.

I mean, uh, it's a bug, and bugs are bad, and important, and my Geralt is suddenly and hopefully momentarily impotent because I agreed to the alchemists experiment, or something. lol.

Sigh. Fine then.

And thank you for reassuring me no long term impacts though, I really appreciate that, I've done an excellent job avoiding spoilers for Witcher 3 and vaguely know of only maybe one more thing ahead re Witcher 2. Have marked as solved to thank you for your time, even though it's not a fix for the bug as such. Not in our power.
