Tried most of the known RPGs for the last several years, this one is the one I always come back to, to me it's the best RPG ever made. Last week I completed Mysteries of Westgate, it was great, it took me to another world and this is the sign of a great game.

Always wanted to play the cream of the crop: Mask of the Betrayer, but the soul eating stuff I hated, so never bothered further. However somewhere I found a way to get rid of it, typing this gibberish in the chat thing, whatever it's called:

I played so far for several hours and it made no difference, except in a single optional quest when I had to use the soul eating stuff, which wasn't a problem as there's a ton of optional quests anyways. Other than that, the health points take a hit but this is easy to sort because the characters are already higher level and I can use heal, or rest, etc.

Anyways, nothing to gain for me here, just thought this might help someone else as MOTB truly seems world class
