MarkoH01: But if these conversations always tell you that you did not see enought to judge or that there are in fact great games you shoudl play instead ... doesn't this mean that most games are NOT slob ... otherwise you could not get so many suggestions.
No, it merely tells me that some people with very particular tastes are overly interested in pushing others to keep trying whatever it is that they enjoy. It seems that they do so in order to justify their own taste to themselves.
If you told me that you don't like cheese and think that all cheese tastes awful, you'd likely just say "ok" and stop offering me cheese. It'd be highly unlikely for you to start trying to determine which cheeses I've eaten and in what volume, and then to tell me that I'm wrong and I should have tried more different cheeses.
(I actually like cheese, this was just an example.)
MarkoH01: And here comes the main problem. "Good" and "bad" or if you like "slob" and "quality game" are still - believe it or not - completely subjective. They depend on what people like to see in their games and how much focus they put on a certain artstyle or if they prefer a good story instead. People are different, tatses are different and games are different to reflect this. This is actually a good thing. So asking to remove everything you yourself would consider to be "trash" or "slob" would also mean that you are asking to remove games others would like to buy.
Well, yes, everything is subjective. And yet, I honestly don't understand why you feel that people who (subjectively as it were) prefer to not see certain games, should not be allowed to filter them out. Because that's what the conversation is really about. I feel that you have a right to buy these games, but you feel that I don't have a right to configure the store to not see them.
Memecchi: As a general rule, one shouldn't refer to a whole genre or subgenre as trash
How did you manage to extract that meaning from what I said? o_O
Here's my quote from earlier:
> While some violent games and horror games are actually great games, the
vast overwhelming majority of porn games are low effort slop the only purpose of which is to extract a few dollars from sexually-frustrated basement dwellers.

Alert me when there's a sex game of the level of quality and cultural importance of Doom/Diablo/Hitman/Witcher/etc.
I'll be sure to buy it and play it. So no, the genre is not trash because a genre cannot be trash by definition. It's just that (so far) most individual instances of the games in the genre are trash.
If it helps, most porn games are kind of like most mobile games. A game isn't bad just because it's on mobile. But I think we can all agree that mobile stores are filled with a shockingly high percentage of worthless shovelware.
