Today I wrote a feedback letter to the GOG team to tell them how much I appreciate their work and how much I love 'em and I think you, too, should take a few moments to write them a personal thank you note and what impact their work might have had on your lives.

Anyways, here's my letter to GOG:

I love that you are listening to the community and engaging with your users.

I love that there are others like me that despise DRM.


I had already given up on PC gaming. When I was younger I always wanted to become a game developer but the anti-customer stance and the rigid DRM that more and more publishers adopted made me lose all passion for games and PC gaming in general, so I chose a different career path. And although I thought my innocent, naive passion for gaming and games has been lost forever, GOG and their marvellous community have done the unthinkable and not only given me hope for the future of gaming but they also have re-ignited a spark of my former passion.

Once again I am dreaming about having my own little game studio.

The bad thing is, that I will now probably regret my career choice for the rest of my life. Oh well...

Yeah, I'm that awesome, what can I say. I'm having trouble understanding the talk from his species, though. For instance, he said "Do you even lift bruh?". What is a bruh and why would I lift it? Also, what does MJAU even mean? That guy confuses me. The claim about the original post not being "trolling" is amusing, at least.

Anyway, more on topic. Today, I invited the entire GOG team for a beer, and was ignored. So now, I won't invite them for a beer, nor will I gift them a Deus Ex copy. Ha! Suck that.

I'll leave a "don't look back" and a "never regret for the things you've accomplised" and wish you good luck. After all, it's never too late to make your hobby become your bussiness, if that's what you want... Cheers!

I think the best way to support GOG team is: Invite your family members, friends and kins to this community. Gift GOG releases to non-GOG gamers, and every other things that will help GOG's growth. :)
