OK then, apparently if you're in an affected region you get the note as soon as you visit the site, so they're doing it right.

The usual I suspect - the publisher doesn't hold the license to digitally distribute it in your region or the author is under a restrictive clause with his publisher for print in your region, if the e-book is self-published.

You could always contact support and ask for the specifics though.

They set the minimum to $3 because they didn't know how to make it $0.01 and people were getting them for free? That's dumb. :\

Because of this, we had to decide whether to not offer the book at all, or just offer it for the territories where the publisher didn't have an exclusive, and we thought that offering it for as many people as we could was the better solution. Just noticed this thread. I may have to do the same, although I've read some of Rusch's work as well as Gaiman and Sanderson, so with the other books in the bundle this has got to be easily worth the bucks.

Dont think we are talking about the same thing :) I was talking about Clockwork Angels which is written by KJA and Neil Peart, drummer of band Rush.

Actually, yes, we're talking about the same thing. I'm a huge fan of Rush and know all about Clockwork Angels the album as well as the book. I meant that as a bonus to the Clockwork Angels novel I'd read Kristine Kathryn Rusch (and others) before and enjoyed her work. I can see where the confusion lies there now, though. Apologies for not being clearer.
