matterbandit: Glad to see a dev lurking the forums! ;) If I may ask a question about your game dotAGE... do you know if it runs on Windows 7? My rig is powerful enough, but it's juiced on legacy os. :P Looks like a fun game to play!
I had people play it on Win 7, yes, but I have not tested it lately myself. Could be worth doing a test with the Steam Demo just to make sure, but it should be fine!

I'm not on Steam, but I'll take your word for it. Thanks for replying to me. I purchased dotAGE! :D

I run the Steam demo on Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit. Only for about 2 hours up to now, but no problems so far :)

Niggles: Have many played the base game?. Thoughts on it ?
I just lost my first game though i own all of the dlc also in an 8 hours playthrough.
The game has memories which unlock more and more things and buildings so in the start it's pretty vanilla and basic.
The start i had it good but then i had a run away pip and had problems with some winter needing food and the domains got too strong at the end since i didn't create enough pips and stuff to counter it.
But otherwise as a turn based game is very interesting, i mean you assign jobs to pips sometimes they need a profession to use a building, latter even they use tools.
The main thing you do is fight against the domains bad effects by either building a structure that uses resources or pips and the domains get stronger the longer you play, but you can reduce that by having good events.
The unlock mechanics is also interesting where probably most new stuff will appear on my second playthrough, some appeared even on my first like fish that i unlocked and then got it with an event.
I wasn't really that far in the research tree but i see it as a good game. Gotta do better with having more pips but having more of them also means more food needed.
Gotta play some more when i can. Got too many bad events after some time and i felt crippled in my gameplay, though sometimes i could cure sickness or distress. But didn't reach far enough in research tree to counter frozen and wet both make your buldings unusable and sickness in pips makes them not work for 10 days if you don't cure it.
Still liked what i played, wanted to see what happens if i play it to the end so i did and lost.
