[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

Thanks, I registered for a new account and linked with epic,
and only later realized it says "Register below and opt in for more information",
while I did tick [ ] I acknowledge... Privacy Policy,
I didn't choose to tick [ ] I would like to receive updates by email...
And the account management page doesn't show I can edit this preference o.O So Does this means I must register again?

Edit: While it was possible to change username and email, I see no option to un-link my Epic Account, so guess I cannot re-register :/

Edit 2: If you happen to reach my state - here is what I've done to ensure I registered properly:
1. Went to Account management A. Changed my Username. B. Changed my Email > confirmed new email.
2. Re-Registered with my Original Username & Email , this time ticking both options > confirmed email again.
3. Linked My Epic Account on my "new" account - at which point the website proposed to merge accounts!
4. Post merging, changed Username & Email on the "new"ly merged account back to the Original > confirmed email again.

2). Then click on My Account or https://access.totalwar.com/auth/control_panel/?source=troyannounce

3). Under "Link your Epic and Access accounts now to prepare for your FREE Amazons DLC!". I linked my Epic account.
