It is indeed frustrating as they are effectively always on-line DRM; the antithesis of gog!

Even origin, uplay, and steam offer off-line modes... and by off-line mode I mean "unplug your Internet off-line modes!" I implore gog to offer a similar deal for developers as I don't want gog to be left behind these monopolizing cunts!
