My dad and I had a lot of fun with this when it first came out. The premise of this game is great, which was sadly held-back due to certain limitations, like not being able to put characters in specific places on a set, so sometimes you couldn't transition scenes together like you should have. It also kind of has the Peter Molyneaux problem in that there's some stellar ideas that aren't fully realized.
Still, it's the only game I can think of where you can actually make your own custom movies, edit scenes together, and see the progress of movies and movie-making technology through the ages. There's a lot to love here - and a weird thing to comment, but I think it has the best credits sequence of any game, because everybody gets to act out a little scene and get their "15 seconds of fame", and you get to see the actual people who made this game, versus it being just a wall of text. I honestly think that should be the norm.
This game and its expansion pack definitely needs to be brought back!
