While my love for the first has its place, the BfME-II was a great time especially with firend. We would have so much fun with the hero system... until someone figured out some broken setups xD Anyways, it was a neat step up and I would love to see other people play this again. DragoThewise

Ah, the second game. Mechanics wise the better one in my opinion but both are amazing! I only ever played this one on the xbox 360. I do have a physical copy I found a few years ago but no means to play it (What computer still has a disk reader these days...) Once again I would argue that the world needs this game to be digitally available! So please, save the timeline GOG. Bring it back!

We just don't get these games anymore. This game perfectly straddles the line between Warcraft iii on one side and Total War: Warhammer on the other. Plus the IP itself is so superb. Absolutely would cherish a return of these fantastic games.

Helped me engage in more lore of The Lord of the Rings even though its all non-canon. The maps, battle mechanics, voice acting, Graphics at the time, custom hero options, the weird multiplayer that it had for you to battle other people's custom heroes all made this a special gem for me as a kid. I have one memory of when I walked into a Best Buy one time and saw someone playing the game on an Xbox on a huge flatscreen in the gaming section.

Playing this game is a pleasure for me. I lose myself while playing the game. Only those who experience it know this pleasure, it is indescribable. Playing a game of a movie you love to watch and feeling like a member of that world is an undeniable pleasure. I hope we will have the opportunity to vote for the Rise of the Wicket King game.

I still have a disc copy of this game and the original but the discs got scratched and modern machines require an external drive to even try and read them... I want this on gog, please... the only way to even remotely find a copy of it physically is some guy on amazon selling a copy for over $2,000 USD...

Bardzo chciałem mieć grę na GoG, A mam oryginalnie płyty bez klucz tylko dla starszy system, a najnowszy system Win 10 i 11 nadał niedostępny. Bardzo chciałbyś mieć tutaj i było chcę szczęśliwe mieć grę. Po prostu jestem mocne fan The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II ogólnie serduszek ♥.

The World of Lotr is a marvel so many stories to tell even in video game form, this was one of my favorit game that my parents bought me. i spent endless nights playing it. i replayed helm's deep and Minas Tirith countless times. Create a character, war of the ring skirmish, my only regret was that they merged rohan and gondor. a bonafide classic that deserves a comeback.

This would be a "shut up and take my money" type of game. I played this all throughout my childhood. Never had the Addon and would like to play it, but it has become very rare. I played this in multiplayer with my brother and some friends who are still big fans of the games. If GOG had this, it would bring back a game that has been buried by licensing issues for close to 20 years. You can only get used copies at the moment. This would be a great game to save for future generations.

Another favorite of mine from the glory days of RTS games (and when EA was producing quality games). While different from its predecessor BFME2 carved out its own space with more factions, custom heroes and an amazing expansion in Rise of Witch King which added more to the overall story of LOTR that not many would have known. I still remember holding out in Erebor at the end of the "Good" campaign and burning through the Shire as the Goblin King, a nice homage to the fate of the Shire in the books. This was 8 CDs just to install it and unfortunately half of mine are too damaged since younger me didn't think to put them in sleaves and kept putting them back in the box. Would love to see this on GOG to relive those memories and even try my hand again at the larger "War of the Ring" game mode.

With a hero characters similar to the Warcraft series you control both the armies and all the unique heroes. The game follows the movies very closely and even got scenes from the films appear in game. Not only does the game contain a giant campaign where you play through the journey of the ring as the good side, the game also features an evil campaign where as the players play as the evil forces of Middle Earth. With multiple diffrent races from all over Middle Earth, a giant spell tree to customize your game and a unique basebuilding layout the game was great for its time.
