Resident Evil

Complete trash

* Audio is heavily compressed, way worse than the PSX version. * FMVs run at choppy 10 fps instead of original 15. * The game is stuck to a single low resolution, everything is blurry. They managed to implement MSAA, but couldn't figure out something so utterly basic as resolution selection? * No controller rumble. * No arrange mode. GOG advertises it as some kind of definitive version updated to 2026 standards, but the truth is it's one of the worst ways to experience this classic. If you want to play the best version then emulate on Duckstation the original PSX Dual Shock edition with the "True Director's Cut" romhack and stay away from this scam.

Slain: Back From Hell

Good for what it is

Pretty straightforward platformer with gorgeous pixel art (hindered a bit by lack of pixel perfect aspect ratio), metal soundtrack and decent boss fights. There's also a nice plot twist at the end. Great stepping stone for future installments.

Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition

The Definitive Version

The definitive version of the cult classic. Contains everything from the original version + new optional content and hundreds (thousands?) of bugfixes.
