Genres:Strategy, Indie, Puzzle, Arcade
Themes:Action, Science fiction, Kids
Game modes:Single player
Story:
Supaplex is the first Boulder Dash-like game that is not fully grid-based: while the playing field is an obvious grid, the objects do not "snap" from one grid position to another, but can be halfway or "in between" grid positions. Supaplex introduces a number of new elements that were not present in Boulder Dash, including bugs, pieces of base that randomly cause a life threatening electrostatic discharges, Ports, which limit Murphy's movement to specific directions, and terminals, which set off yellow Utility Disks. Utility Disks are explosive floppy disks and come in three different colors: Orange Disks work like Zonks, but explode when hit or when falling. Yellow Disks do not fall yet may be pushed in any direction, and explode when the Terminal is used. Red Disks can be carried and dropped when convenient, exploding seconds after.

My favourite childhood games in the 90’s! As a child this game really made you think and plan ahead your next move/path to get the end of the maze and avoid stuff ups along the way or you have to start all over again. I didn’t get far into the game to complete it, as the levels do get harder and complex puzzles. Thirty something years later, I would love to play this retro classic game again and try to complete it. 🖤👍🏼Akimi87

It's one of the best Boulder Dash clones. It was so fun even though it was sometimes hard. I've never finished it, but I would like to! I remember that the second or third levels was a pure maze for example. Ah, the nostalgia!

I played with my father. We challenged each other who can make more levels. I maked first 10 levels then he played makes some more, then i tried to beat him. Then was his time to beat me... i think we was around level 50 last time we played. Good Old Game. :-)

Supaplex is one of my favourite all-time DOS games. The idea of its creation was to have a version (clone) of Boulder Dash which can fit in a single 1.44Mb floppy disc. The original DOS game shows many performance problems (specially frame jumps/skips) if executed under Windows (any version) or DOSBox, requiring the player to execute the game under "pure" DOS. There's a new release of the game on Steam/eShop/Mobile by inArcade, but this new version does not have the charm of the DOS original, because the inArcade version looks more like a browser/flash game, without counting this new version has many missing things and other problems compared with the DOS original. The request here is to bring back the original DOS version of the game in all of its glory and charm, but modified to run perfectly on current systems (without any performance issue) under the "Good Old Game" label.

I was here to suggest Infotron, but from what I understand this is basically the same game. Classic boulder dash action but with a more computery vibe, because computers were becoming increasingly available to ordinary people in the 90s.

It was by far the best Boulder Dash clone, IMHO surpassing it easily. Its mechanics, funny graphics and really challenging level design made it a game playable for countless hours back in early 90's.
This music. This graphics. Even with internal PC Speaker. It was great. I remember, i copied it on a disquette, from a friend. Was one of the 1st games i saw on a computer. I would like to buy in GOG, the way you work, to preserve it for ever.

Silent Hill
Silent HillSilent Hill is the first installment in the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Like the previous entries, Silent Hill 3 is a survival horror combining action-based combat and puzzle-solving, but is somewhat more combat-oriented than the preceding installments. The main character is able to side-step and block some attacks, but in general shares with the other protagonists of the series their relative ineptitude in combat.
