For the glory of mankind this game needs to be freed from its DRM-shackles! Nier Automata is the game with the most ambitious story/lore I have ever played. It takes various popular philosophies and belief-systems of humanity and turns them on their head. Combined with a grandiose soundtrack and ever-engaging gameplay, this one is truly a standout gem in the history of video games.PaezRice

This game made way into my heart through its music, characters, story... and ended up in a rabbithole that saw no end. That dragon plunging into the tower and those bells followed me through a journey in which no human belongs. And yet, we help each other until the end. Kindness, compasion, and sacrifice are at the core of this game. Is true art, and Yoko Taro a master, even tho he would not say that. Drm free? Yes, please.

This game....I never thought that playing a packed action beat them all with robots and sexy androids would be this deep. It just moved me like no game ever did! I felt emotions that I didn't think a game could trigger. It's beautiful, it's poetic and very philosophic. I wish I could forget it to rediscover it all over again . I remember the first time I played, I was expexting a brainless beat them up with fan service. Oh boy was I wrong. Sure I had some fan service here and there but the first time I had to face my own moral choices... It hit me HARD . This game should be preserved. No , it MUST be preserved!
NieR: Automata belongs on GOG NieR: Automata is not missing from stores. It is missing from GOG. You can buy Game of the YoRHa Edition on Steam. There have been Xbox and Microsoft Store versions. The Switch has The End of YoRHa Edition. PlatinumGames and Square Enix shipped a 2017 classic that people still finish more than once on purpose. That part is solved. What is not solved is a DRM-free PC copy you can keep. This is a single-player game. 2B, 9S, A2, the machines, the endings that only make sense if you keep going. No live service. No season pass holding the story together. Square Enix already removed Denuvo from the Steam build in 2021 and cleaned up a lot of the old port problems. The remaining argument for keeping it off GOG is habit, not technology. GOG’s Dreamlist has the game for a reason. People who already own it on Steam still ask for it there because they want the install to outlast a store client. That is a fair request for a title this finished. NieR Replicant sits in the same situation. The series that asks what it means to persist should not depend on a launcher to persist. A GOG release would not replace Steam. It would be the version you can archive next to the soundtrack and actually own. Please put NieR: Automata on GOG.

There so much good things. I don’t want to spoil it for those haven’t and it’s one of those La games whatever you do it alternates a different scene. You play as two androids in an apocalypse world. I enjoyed The boss fights and open scenery. I Still haven’t finished all 27 ending plus a secret ending. I got the 24th ending. But, Nier is on the top shelf. next to next to FF7 and KDH from square enix. I recommend enjoy tapping in and experiencing it.

I love this game. It's easily one of my favorite of all time. I've purchased it on Steam (after Denuvo was removed), bought it two times on PS4 (English copy, and then a copy I purchased from Trader in Akihabara), and have purchased it two other times on Steam for friends and family. I will easily purchase it again on GOG for myself just to get those offline installers with a patch to reach ending E completely offline (I hope). This also put me on Platinum Games games, which lead me to buy Ninja Gaiden 4 and I'm looking forward to the TMNT game coming soon from them.

Nier Automata was unexplainably wonderful experience for me. It was my first and last JRPG (at least till the date I wrote this comment). Story, soundtrack, characters, story-telling, and gameplay were all incredible. It deserves a preservation in a DRM-free platform. Even though I have it on steam, I would consider buying from GOG if there was a GOG version.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.
