i thought i made a commented on duke nukem but i guess it was a different one and this one is trending so ill recape on whative said. This game has brought many memories especially with me and my sister playing vs mode or co op mode. we loved the shrink ray but the expander ray was even more fun when the ding happend made us crack up laughing into tears. i had alot of fond memories especially when playing in seccret when my mum always yelling at me to not to play this game. Its a fun game and greatly enjpoyed it if gog could make open servers for this game i would be able able to play with my sister again, so gog what are you waiting for christmas.ArtanisTGT

I love this game. I had it on Xbox 360. I just want to chew bublegum and play this game. And I'm all out of gum. Playststion can blow it out there @$$. I know alot of you agree.

Personally I feel the original duke3D should be available on more platforms, and no I do not mean the world tour edition from a few years ago, I mean the ACTUAL duke3D that Randy tore off steam and made it difficult to purchase it again.

I remember playing I think Duke Nukem forever.. abd the game was fun in my eyes.. sure it was pure action and violance but it still kept my focus and interest into it, said to see the Franchise will never come back, but from what I know, Duke Nukem was a series of games that blessed a generation with pure rocking action, and is a pure example of the Radical Age of the 90S I would love to play Duke Nukem again, and play the older games, so having Duke Nukem 3D on GOG would be great for fans of action and 90s epicness, but would allow people to come back to this game, and experience again in years

One of the first PC games I played on a 386. Stayed up for hours looking for secret areas and playing the Duke arcade. My sister was so mad when she found out I installed this on her PC back in the day.

Game was good as a kid. Completed it as an adult a decade ago, and now wish it was still around, if only to document that time. Also with there'd be a modern rendition of the character that still retained many of his jerk-like qualities. Regardless, Duke is an icon of the 90s, for better or worse.

Duke Nukem is the Doom concept done in 80s action hero film style. I remember it for the best and most intricate level design and much more varied weapon types (laser tripwire bombs, remote detonated bombs, shrinker, freezer, holograph bait for multiplayer). May have aged in some aspects more than Quake, but I sunk into it more ours than in all other shooters combined in that decade. Few games are as important to gaming history as the duke.

One of the very first person shooter games I played after Wolfenstein. Wolfenstein was fun and super nostalgic, but Duke Nukem was not only fun and very nostaligic, it was hilarious at the same time. I still laugh at his one liners and even have some of them as my phone notification sounds lol. This is very much a game that needs to be preserved.

I play it with my cousins since ps1 we like the mechanism in this game, a lot of memories with this golden era games we share in 90's, we have turns to see who will lose to take his turn if one of us lose a stage but I put a rules for the older will have 3 tries the middle 2 tries & the youngest only one, I'm the older one and the rest sleeping .

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
