I hope GOG can strike a deal with Remedy to bring it to this platform. Control is one of the best games I've played, made by one of the best studios out there, and Resonant is looking like it'll be something special. At the very least, it'd be nice to get an announcement ahead of release (like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 did) on when it'll make its way to GOG.FlinkSalat

I hope GOG can strike a deal with Remedy to bring it to this platform. Control is one of the best games I've played, made by one of the best studios out there, and Resonant is looking like it'll be something special. At the very least, it'd be nice to get an announcement ahead of release (like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 did) on when it'll make its way to GOG.

Control was one of my favourite games that I played this past year. I hope the sequel comes to GOG early, I don't wanna have to wait for an exclusivity deal to expire... (though I understand why Remedy did that with other games) - I saw steam/epic but nothing conclusive yet. Fingers crossed!

Control is absolutely my favorite game of "recent" years. And definitely makes it into my all time favorites too. I really hope this sequel comes here. Even if we have to wait for a "complete edition" like we did for the first game. Obviously a day 1 release would be better, but as long as it gets here eventually.

Control is in GOG, so we would like to also buy Control Resonant here. Remedy is one the greastest devolopers nowdays. We would like to support it in our favourite platform.

PLEASE Remedy you must make Control Resonant available to us on GOG. The first installment of Control has and always will be in my top 10 favorite games of all time. What @FlinkSalat said about how Warhorse handled KCD2 would be the perfect approach for us here (and it showed that they cared about our business instead of completely ignoring us like the many other devs have done in the past). Please just let us know prior to release day when it would be available here. For as much as I love Control I will not purchase Resonant on any other platform but GOG. A few years back I promised myself that If I don't own the games I spend my hard earned money on then developers will not get my $..it's that simple.

All signs point to this effectively becoming Remedy's "make or break" moment as of late (kind of like the first Control ironically enough), so I'd certainly be happy if I could support the studio here than anywhere else if possible.

I have recently played through every Alan Wake game and some Control (got bored after getting stuck in the boss fight against Salvador, though). I know this will first be released on Steam and I've already prepurchased it there. To be fair, the choice makes sense considering Steam is easily the platform with the largest userbase (and buyerbase). Even so, for the sake of game preservation, I wish for this to be released on GOG all the same. The good news is several of Remedy Entertainment's games already are, so I'd predict Resonant will receive a GOG release eventually. It is only a matter of time.

I love remedy games control especially, have a special bond with it. I would love to preserve the next game forever and I am willing to pay extra of not having local pricing as it would apply on steam (in MENA). But it is very much worth it for me

I love everything Remedy makes. CONTROL 2019 & AW2 were standouts in the years they were released. But keeping AW2 behind Epic's storefront put me off until it was free for a limited time, and I assume many did the same. (Epic funded AW2 with exclusive storefront rights.) The point is, I would be very excited to play this game given Resonant was announced for Steam, and hopefully more storefronts options like GOG too.

PLease please please Remedy make the game available on GoG, I just want to enjoy the game without disgusting DRMs pauperizing my experience ! Control is one of the games I enjoyed the most in recent years and would love to play the second installement on gog

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
